Disney Princess & Me Dolls
Disney’s Princess and Me Collection – Bringing Fairy Tales to Life
Fairy tales are magical stories that little girls love to hear over and over again. The scenario of a beautiful young girl overcoming difficulties and becoming a princess is timeless. Children find hope and encouragement in these stories, and what better way for Disney to portray the damsels in distress than the Princess and Me collection. Not only are these lovely dolls life-like examples of their fairly tale characters, but they also bring with them the stories they live in.
Tiana from the Princess and the Frog overcomes a strange situation (turned into a frog) to fulfill her dreams of having her own restaurant. She works hard and is very kind. Tiana was the first black princess for Disney and has earned a coveted place in the Princess and Me collection.
Everyone knows the story of Cinderella, the young lady in a bad situation…wicked stepmother and two wicked stepsisters. Although she has adversity at every turn, she continues to hold on to her optimistic spirit with a strong mind and a big heart. The Princess and Me collection would not be complete without Cinderella.
The Princess and Me collection also includes Aurora, from Sleeping Beauty. Although she too had a wicked stepmother, she maintained her happy outlook, enjoying the forest with her furry friends, not giving in to hate or spitefulness. In the end, her good nature won out and she regained her position as royalty.
Last but in no way least, we have Ariel, the Little Mermaid. Although she was destined to live out her days under the sea, through curiosity and the courage to make a drastic change, she found happiness after all and proved that if you don’t like how your life is going, you have the ability to change it. A mermaid princess certainly belongs in the Princess and Me collection.
Each of the young ladies in the Princess and Me collection has their own personalities bringing their fairy tales to life…just ask a little girl…they know.
